Mike made his way through the Star base and approached the docks. he gave the dock office his ID and after a small walk through the boarding tube he set foot aboard of the vessel.

the USS Chimera open up around him. Officers and jr officers passed by him going about their business and he thought to himself “ when was the last time they had a proper meal”

He walked to a console on the wall and told the computer “ I am a civilian who was able to join the crew or what am I supposed to do on this vessel first?”

MJ stopped when he heard somebody ask the computer about checking in. He was on his way to get some training on the CIWS, a defensive system that was not on his previous ship, but he was off shift and training on his personal time.

The broad shouldered Risian turned and saw a man standing in front of a console. “Escuse me… I’m Ensign MJ Shau, one of the Chimera’s Security Officers. I head you say you were checking in… do you need any assistance?”

MJ had a muscular build but was only average in height… an inch or so shorter than Mike. His hair was neatly trimmed with short curls on top and faded on the sides. He also has a stubbly beard.

He appreared human except for marking on his forehead that meant he was Risian.

OOC: For my own clarity, is Mike a civillian or Starfleet Crewman?
