I've got a Scallax to grind with you
In the dead of the night a priority 1 communique is received - Captain's eyes only. With it bring portents of rebellion, treason and secession. The senior officers have been frantically summoned from from their beds. Rumours abound and the sudden upheaval of their downtime leaves the crew uneasy about what is coming.

The Chimera has been tasked to respond the the impending Secession of Scallax Prime. A world located in the Orion Sector. The locals have rebelled over perceived injustices such as lacking adequate protection, claims of medical experimentation and financial and cultural exploitation. Buckle your seat belts and baton down the hatches. The ship is about to warp out!
8 Hours later, the crew are tense and on edge but working the problem. One of the rebels has been revealed as Colonel Voss a dedicated Marine who spent a sizeable portion of his career in counter-intelligence before transferring to take command of a marine rapid response vessel. The USS Cinzano was assigned to chase down Orion Syndicate Pirates harassing Scallax. The Colonel's logs show that he began to grow paranoid and was sure that he was being actively thwarted by command and fed false information. Was there a mutiny, a defection, or maybe something else?
