John was in bed but sleep was not coming to him. No matter how hard he tried sleep will not come. He got up a grabbed a small packet of sleepy time green tea he put on a robe and made his way to the mess hall. When he got there it was dark no lights on he made his way to the galley and found the water pot . After checking to see if water is inside, he started to heat it up and grab himself a cup. He poured some of the fine powder out of the package and into his cup after he made a cup of his tea, he went back into the best Hall and took a seat.

Ensign Montana went from sickbay to the mess hall to get something to eat but wasn’t so sure what to eat. She then decided to sit down at a random table and stared on the outside. She had a book that she carried and sat there reading it. As she couldn’t sleep the mess hall was the best place to go too.

John saw her setting at a table “ everything all right Ensign” he asked as he carried the hot pot to his table. The tea he mad was strong and helpful to help relax the body. The smell of the tea was relaxing and welcoming.

She saw him and heard him ask that. “Yes sir. Just not sure what to eat really. Uh you do have any recommendations?” She asked Lieutenant Foster.

He Smiled his warm smile and said “well late night like this a stew will be best it is literally and warm and I think there is some vegetable stew left. I can warm it up for you” he asked

She smiled at him. “I’d love that, thank you. I’m Ashley Montana, the new Nurse on board. I wanted to introduce myself because I’ve not met anyone on board yet.” She said.

John went to work a warmed up the stew and he added little seasoning. He brought the small bowl to the Ensign with a small glass of apple juice. “ I am Lt. John Forster the CWO” he said as he took his set

“So how long have you been a Nurse for and are you planning on becoming a doctor” he asked

She took the Apple juice and the bowl of stew with acceptance. “I’m planning on staying as a nurse. Planning on hoping to be the Head Nurse eventually. But honestly, that’s my goal.” She replied.

John smiled and said “so did you enjoy your time at the academy and have you seen the whales”

Lt. John Forster (CWO)

She sat there and nodded. “Yes I did enjoy my time at the academy. I have indeed seen the whales. How about you Lieutenant. Did you enjoy your time at the academy and seen the whales?” She asked the same question back.

john leaned back in a seat “ yes I have enjoyed my time and I would leave my barracks and take a boat out. I would spend time with those whales give them fresh fish. Did you know that Captain Kirk and his crew brought those whales from the past using an old Klingon Bird-of-Prey (a B’rel-class)” he took a sip of green tea as he talked about the whales. On his belt you can see and old looking badge reflecting the light

She nodded. “Yes. I’ve read it at the academy part of my class back there.” She replied continuing to eat and drink her food and juice.

“I think it’s still down there or maybe has some time traveling technology on it or section 13 took it” he said, jokingly taking a sip of his green tea. “ man can you imagine time travel if you had a chance to go to one era what would it be?” He asked

“Quite honestly never thought about that to be honest. I would rather stay in this era only because I’ve never time traveled to anywhere.” She said nodding and smiling.

John smiled “ I have not time traveled either” he relaxed in his set “so how is the stew” he asked
