History:
Born and raised on Betazed, at the family compound hidden in the nearby jungles near the falls; it’s well hidden and hard to get to. At times, parents were more isolationist. Xenophobes to a fault. The only ones that were more open-minded were the boys and sister of the family that most reside in the capital city or on one of the neighboring moons of Betazed. The siblings all still keep in contact with one another; they visit their ancestral home rarely because of the conditions of their travel routes to the ancestral home, along with relations with the parents and grandparents and other odd family members. there apposed to the new relations with the Federation and other worlds. The world of Haven and Betazed as a whole has moved forward with the possible integration with the Federation, even with objections from some of the older and ancient families.
There is minor depression because of him having to leave Betazed to try and have a life beyond the homeworld and family. Missing his brothers and sister the most, but lesser of the rest of the family. Due to their hard, xenophobic ways.

Pawl took a lot of training at their local Spaceport and learned to pilot all sorts of crafts and ships. Along with repairing them, too. Pawl applied for the interspecies engineering exchange program, which was offered to Bedazed before being added to the federation as a member. He was posted to the USS Chernov.
