On deck 10, Lt Zavey was manning her station in the science lab. Their new mission was going to be needing a lot of work from her department and she intended on being helpful. Although she’d studied cosmic string networks at the Academy, it was time to brush up on the theory. Something new might have been added to the database since her school days. She also wanted another look at graviton pulse communication and tachyons. Completely absorbed in her work, she wondered how Lt Malone was doing on the bridge.
