Maximilien Mullins

Maximilien grew up in a small town about 75 km from Paris France by the name of Fontainebleau. He enjoyed his childhood but he never seemed to fit in with most of his mates at school. He was always taking things apart and determine how things worked when items were put into the trash bin. His parents were always confused on why Max did not want to do the normal things most children did while growing up. As Max became older and was deciding what to do with his life, he grew more and more fond of becoming a engineer for Star-Fleet. This did not go over well with his parents as they believed he needed a real career and not something they believed would not get him anywhere in life. Upon finishing grade school, he went into Star-Fleet at the age of 17. During his time at the academy, he was very fond of learning about warp engines and the ins and outs about every aspect of warp engines so he made that his focus while at the academy. He excelled at the academy and finished a semister earlier than most of his mates and it seemed to have alienated him from everyone else. His professors at the academy expected him to gain rank and move up quickly. However, due to the sudden death of both his grandparents and his parents when he was 22 and 23 respectively, he had to take some extended time off. These deaths on Max was extremely devastating and lead to him having to take additional time off of Star-Fleet due to his mental health. After take a 3 year hiatus from Star-Fleet, he was once again ready to work on Star-Fleet vessels as he had enjoyed. His first assignment back from Star-Fleet was on the U.S.S. Defiant. He served on this vessel as an Ensign for well over 5 years.
