OOC: The Captain has asked me to write a wrap up tonight the sim after which there will be a break before the start up of the next sim to allow for some side simming. So here is the wrap up:

IC: The Merrimack’s Away Team from the mines with the Captain in the lead made it back to the mining colony safely and regrouped with the Engineering Away Team as well the team that came down to the planet to rescue them.
The Captain escorted the two previously captive miners to the Advisor and told him what and who they had found.
As predicted the Advisor was not happy to learn about the mutated Aenar living below the surface and that they had claims on the planet and its minerals. According to Federation law all mined minerals in this situation were frozen and mining activity had to cease until the case was brought before the Federation Council.
The Merrimack’s crew returned to the Merrimack where the Captain sent an urgent message and brief to the Federation Council. The results were now in the Council’s hands.

Sorry I dropped out again. I’m so busy with childcare for the granddaughter and family stuff right now that I completely forgot to check in. Going forward, I should be back to normal. I’m happy to begin whenever everyone is is ready, but maybe they need more time.

I don’t know if the AWOLs are returning or not. People gave me excuses but some have been away very long periods without a LOA posted. I appreciate it is a holiday period right now. Also, in the state that other ships in STF are, I don’t see any readily available replacements anyway. I suggest we set a date like 1st September to begin the new Sim.

Fine with me Dave ,as for those who have been on AWOL its not about summer for surly they can do a five min post every now and then .Its easy to follow considering there are not so many sims going on.

Work side, one job got a new manager, so been having to deal with that, other job, employee is leaving the state, so I’m trying to take their shift when they leave, yesterday was my wedding anniversary, the 29th would have been my father’s birthday, tomorrow is my friend’s birthday, friend from wife’s city came to visit after passing the police academy, so we celebrated with her, and gave her a graduation present. So, by Tuesday, I’ll be back on normal schedule.
