“Ill take that as a complement commander, Revna is an amazing person. I should only hope to be like her” he noted.
Shedda smiled. “She truly is, as I am sure you are as well.” She had no doubt of that, Revna wouldn’t have supported him coming here if he wasn’t.
Her lips curled into a smile. There was something nice about this simple act of sharing. It felt like camaraderie, even though she still didn’t know them all very well yet. But that would come in time. “Battle is exciting?” she said.

Bjarke gave a look of almost shock. “ahhh” he said, in a guteral sound. “The battle it really gets your blood flowing, the adrenaline and pace of it is intoxicating” he said, “My clan says I have the spirit of a Berserker in me.” he noted, “And the partying, ” he paused. “Engagements after, are just multiplied by the adrenaline that remains pumping through your body for hours.” he smiled sheepishly. “I suppose I like it a little to much if I’m honest” he said trying to regain some composure.
Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic Attaché“Ever spent time with Klingons?” Shedda asked.
Cmdr. Mal’athar, XO
Bjarke’s smile was wide and most Klingon like. She had to be aware of his previous assignment but, but perhaps she was trying to keep the conversation going. “I spent the last two years in an officer exchange program with them, ” he paused as if thinking about something off in the past. “oH quvqu’!” he said in near perfect klingon.
Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic Attaché“I’m not a big fan of battle, but I can get into a good hunt. I like the quiet thrill of approaching an animal without it knowing I’m there, getting close enough to touch. We don’t often kill our targets, but the feast afterwards when we do is great,” Kaia contributed.
Lieutenant Kaia
Chief Engineer USS ManhattanKa’Sora beamed. “Yes, that I know as well,” she said. “I have been a part of many a hunting party back in Daveyla.” An understatement, perhaps, but context was everything here. “The hunt has a specific purpose. I had to reframe combat when I was at the Academy to find its purpose. I’m still not entirely sure I fully grasp it from the perspectives of other cultures, but it’s definitely a piece I’m studying, especially out here in deep space.” They passed the far base of the Hill, and were turning the corner past the tropical glasshouse that went all the way to the ceiling of the garden space.

“So, violence is not a think on your planet.” he asked, hunting was one thing but it sounded like the concept of war was not present. That would be a fascinating study. He walked looking at the garden, the glasshouse was impressive, he studied it for a few moments still in awe at the size and detail of the space.
Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic Attaché“Not quite as it is elsewhere. It does happen, but infrequently,” Ka’Sora said.
“I admit I don’t get the same adrenaline rush from battle. My father does. He was a gladiator. There was a Klingon Warrior in our village, they would practice together. They would both be very… banged up, I think the phrase goes, and laughing.” Shedda shook her head with a grin. She loved her father, even when, as a teenager, she’d thought her father was weird.
Cmdr. Mal’athar, XO
She listened with a deep curiosity and a smile. “We don’t have organized fights or anythign like that. I suspect it comes from our evolutionary heritage. Zaharans have always had a lot of predators to contend with on our world. We’re usually the prey, so much of our instincts revolve around protecting ourselves and avoiding conflict. I mean, we even have a biological mechanism that can kick in, so willing going into a fight would be counterproductive most of the time.”

“Q’onos is a very hash place. Klingons pride themselves on being apex predators. Their environment pushed them to evolve so in order to survive. It is something that has stayed with them throughout their culture and led them to be great warriors and protectors. My father’s journey is not so… noble,” Shedda commented.
Cmdr. Mal’athar, XO
Bjarke almost growled his snort was so low and long. “Ohh I miss the rush of Klingon battle, and the feel of my Battleth in my hand, its” he paused looking around the people he was with. “Exciting” it was not the right word but it felt like the appropriate one.

“Tell me more?” Ka’Sora said, utterly fascinated and trying to wrap her mind around the cultural concepts and how they translated into everyday mores and behaviour.
