Hayley jumped slightly as her comm went off and her eyes widened in surprise as she realized she was being summoned by the CO. =/\= “On my way, Sir” =/\= She replied. She set aside her current project, straightened her uniform and headed out through the sickbay doors to make her way to the bridge. She was feeling a little self conscious as she stepped of the lift, this was, after all, her first time on the bridge of the ship. She ducked her head a little as she made her way to the ready room and pressed the chime for admittance.

Ensign Marshall, Doctor

A crisp =/\= Enter! =/\= came from within. When Marshall entered the ready room she found the Captain looking at the least frustrated, despite her usual masks of controlling her emotions. Obviously whatever was up was rattling her something fierce. “..Ah Ensign please come in take a seat. Would you care for a drink?” She offered. Hopefully things weren’t too bad if the Romulan Captain was offering a drink.

Hayley took a seat across the desk from the Captain. “No thank you Sir,” Hayley replied, she was still feeling somewhat nervous and so was afraid any liquid in her possession would wind up spilled across the Captain’s desk. “What can I do for you?”

Ensign Marshall, Doctor

Once Hayley sat, Drudoc began. “..It is more what you could do for the ship. Due to some......shall we say frustrating circumstances. I was forced to relive Lieutenant....now Ensign Suder from the chief medical officer and senior department head role on this ship. With that said I need to obviously fill the role in my staff. I would like that person to be you, Ensign. If you are willing?” She inquired.

There was a slight pause before Hayley replied, this was not what she had been expecting at all and it took her a moment to process. While she hadn’t been on board long she had already developed a great deal of respect for Dr. Suder. “I would be honored, Captain.” Hayley answered, hoping desperately that there would be no hard feelings between her and her former CO. Despite her shock and curiosity she did not ask for details as she felt it was really none of her business. “Do you think there is anything I can do to support Dr. Suder through this change?” She added.
