Homeworld: Marva IV (by birth), OED V (resettled)

Jewl Stone was born as Alana Trenor, twin sister to Elias “Eli” Trenor, on the lush colony world of Marva IV. Their childhood began in peace — wind-fed wheat terraces, a Starfleet-medical father and civil-engineer mother, and a tight bond that only twins understand.

But by age 7, peace shattered.

When Cardassian forces violated Federation borders following the treaty collapse, Marva IV was caught unprotected. Their parents resisted occupation. They were executed in front of their children. Alana and Eli were taken — shackled, cataloged, and shipped to Work Compound Jorix-3, an off-record Cardassian slave camp.

From ages 7 to 17, Alana knew only survival: mining labor, systemic brutality, and the cold calculus of life under authoritarian control. But she didn’t break — she adapted. Where Eli burned hot, Alana became ice: calculating, perceptive, physically precise. Her body grew lean and lethal, her mind patient and terrifyingly aware. The guards called the siblings “Mirror Dogs.” One could not be broken without the other rising.

At seventeen, the twins tried to escape. A structural failure during a planetary ion storm gave them a window. They made it across the basin. But someone betrayed them. The camp responded with overwhelming force. Alana was injured shielding Eli from a falling support beam during the pursuit.

When she awoke, she was on a civilian freighter.
Her body mended.
Her memory did not.

She remembered nothing — not her name, her family, or the trauma she endured. The only thing she had was the bracelet… and the word it whispered into her mind:

“Jewl.”

The medics called her Jewl Stone.
And so she began again.

At 19, she began hiding a pattern of dreams — wheat fields, fire in the sky, someone calling her name. A bracelet, half-forgotten, pulsed faintly at her ankle. She didn’t know what it meant — only that she couldn’t let it go.

Resettled on the mining colony of OED V, Jewl was taken in by a foster family. She had no recollection of her origin, but an unshakable moral compass and the instincts of someone who had seen the worst.

At 20, she entered the OED V Colonial Constabulary Academy. By 23, she graduated at the top of her class, with a precision to her movement and interrogation style that set her apart. She excelled through pattern reading, restraint, and deep emotional intelligence.

Over the next two decades, she rose through the ranks:

Patrol and Motor Unit (23-25): Was awarded several comindations landing some major busts for narcotics and smugling during routine stops:

Narcotics & Trafficking Division (25–32): Broke three syndicate pipelines. Went deep undercover multiple times. Saved over fifty victims from off-grid exploitation cells.

Violent Crimes & Pattern Homicide Unit (33–44): Solved high-profile killings with minimal leads. Trusted with factional murders, political disappearances, and culturally volatile cases.
