Ashley looked back, clearly enjoying the looks as she looked back in the cabinet. She saw one of the bottles of rum, Malibu brand vintage 2352. It was a good flavor and great for getting drunk with a friend, with its fruit and coconut it almost made you feel you were at the beach. Grabbing and two classes she came back to Avalise as she sat down next to her, leaving very little room between the two.

Pouring the drinks she set the bottle on the table and handed Avalise drink to her as she took a small swig of hers before finding herself biting her lower lip as she gazed into her eyes. The gaze to some might have almost seemed loving, but it was clear it felt almost hungry as she found her eyes going slowly lower. Her gaze went as low as her well rounded chest before looking back up sharply, almost as if she knew she was caught but not seeming to care either.

Accepting the drink, Avalise took a good sip and then another, letting the alcohol fill her tastebuds., all the while giving Ashley and amused smirk. But she said nothing before she leaned back , eyes closed, pictured herself somewhere else. Maybe Risa? That would be nice. But she was here and this new job was great… mostly. But today was proving to be far more challenging personally. “Ever wish you could go back in time and not change anything but just watch an event so you knew what happened?” she asked, gazing at Ashley again.

“Oh… yes. I made a few choices in my time I think I would like to see how I ended up there.” she said, her mind racing to a few moments she often replayed in her mind which she wondered how she ended up where she did. Looking at the woman next to her she knew this wasn’t meant to be more than friends with benefits, but it wasn’t that long ago it would have been her fiance’ sitting there. All the while, she didn’t hate her life and her fiance’ found someone who could say I do to her.

“This isn’t about me but about what happened to someone else,” Rendana replied.

Still, the view didn’t look bad at all right now, as she took Avalise hand and kissed the back of it. She was enjoying the company and fully understood the needs to look back. “You want to tell me more? I am here hon, for whatever you need.” she said as she intertwined her fingers into hers.

The sensation of her lips on her skin, even just her hand, drew her focus enough to force Avalise to breath and she let out a sharp exhale. “My mom died late last year. She was a scientist and working on a special project. But because it as classified, we’re not allowed to know how she died.And it’s been hard. And then our creepy strategic operations officer broke into my office and was waiting for me this morning… in the dark. And he implied he knew stuff about m mother. I was so angry Ashley. I refuse to be manipulated and uh, after I kicked him out, I punched the wall hard enough to fracture my hand. Stupid…” she muttered.

“You? Punched a wall, firecracker in you.” she said, softly as she held her hand in hers, looking at it as she gently traced her knuckles and the palm of her hand. “I am sorry to hear about your mother though, but that pain and anger is certainly understandable.” Looking over, Ashley let go of her hand as she gently caressed her cheek with the back of her hand. “Are you sure you want this way? I confess I feel a need to be a friend a bit even if I just want to rip off your clothes, tell me what you need and I will gladly give it to you.” she said gently, as she leaned in and kissed her forehead.

Avalise sighed, both from the kiss and the situation. “I don’t know, honestly. It’s just been such an emotional rollercoaster today. But… the thought of just forgetting all that for a little while is quite appealing,” she said, gazing at Ashley intently. “I can’t solve the thing with my mother tonight. Make it go away,” she said, feeling confident about that decision and the possible repercussions of this evening.

“Yes… I did.” Ashley said, feeling herself gaze over at Avalise and smile softly. Leaning in she gently brushed the hair out of Avalise face as she leaned in to give her a kiss, letting the weight of body just press slightly against her own. Ash let all other thoughts flee her mind expect the woman in front of her. She wanted to connect in a carnal manner, it’s all that mattered to her right now. She had her own needs and it had been awhile since she found someone compatible. As their lips touched she she savored the taste again, letting her spread her lips apart with her tongue taking every ounce of her in that moment.
