After he finished his conversation with Karilan, Raf sat at the comm unit and stared at the link he had inputted. All he had to do was hit the key to activate the signal. He wasn’t quite sure why he was hesitating, except that he was on a new world, with his past more than likely to be made a point of an investigation he had nothing to do wth other than knowing the man that had died. He needed to take steps, he knew that. But this was harder than he thought it would be.

Taking a deep breath, Torres put in a call to Dr. Sharah Fayth, trusting Karilan that this was a good idea.

When Fayth was in her office to do so, she answered her comms, no matter what she was doing. She wasn’t always in her office though. Torres lucked out that she happened to be where she could accept the call. The screen flashed to life on the image of a very beautiful woman with gorgeous black hair with an abundance of curls, obsidian eyes and a kind expression that put people at ease. She was wearing a blue Star Fleet uniform with the violet lab coat of Sacred Heart Hospital over it. “This is Dr. Fayth. How can I help you?”

“Ummm, hi. I…” Raf took a breath. “Sorry. I’m Rafael Torres. Karilan Massat said I should call you and inquire about some services. Umm, for addiction support. Maybe also a counsellor or something. I uh…” He looked away and shook his head. What was he doing? But he trusted Karilan and so Raf looked back and sighed. “I’m just having a hard time. A friend of mine just died and Mx. Massat you were the best person to call given some complications with my situation.”
