Raf was raised by a single father after his mother cut loose when he was 4 years old. Tamara struggled with addiction and raising a child as a teenage parent. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Damian has always been a loving father and the two have a good relationship, despite all the strife Raf has caused in their lives. Damian always said that he would never approve of Raf’s choices but he’d always love him as a father should.
