If it weren’t for her hair tied into a messy bun or her smudged eyeliner or the giant covered birdcage she was carrying, Ditka Starrrr would have looked like a Risan model on gym day, in sweats and an oversized tank.

She lumbered the birdcage, which rumbled with cursing and heavy fluttering noises, through the streets of Oed V, looking at all the street signs intently.

They were lost.

She’d managed to entice Hinky into his cage with lies about going back to Risa, but the bird was aware of the subterfuge. She thought that maybe–maybe–a professional could help them figure out this mess.

If only they could find the counselor.

Hinky was beyond beyond annoyed.

Picture it–36 hours ago, he was preening on a Risan palm in the sun outside of their old apartment building, and the next thing he knew, he was being invited by some very delicious fruit into a very claustrophobic cage and shuttlecrafted to… some place named Oed.

You’d be mad, too!

Sure, he might have used some choice words and called her a dirty evil birdnapper. And sure maybe he agreed to come. And sure, maybe it was just slightly cooler than Risa.

But enough was enough!

“Help!” Hinky cried, but in an old Ferengi man’s voice. From under the covered birdcage, it could have been Norb’s, Owner and CEO of the Klaxut Market empire. “I’m being rich Ferengi-napped! Haaaaalp!”
