She nodded, understanding the concept. “You know, humans on Earth have a saying, ‘Home is where the heart is’. I always found that to be mostly true.” She turned and began pulling out things from the pantry cabinet. “If you don’t have something you love, something or someone that makes you feel at ease, or a place that is special to you, it is hard to feel like you have a home.”

She paused with her hand on a long thin loaf of bread. There was a brief bit of sadness in her eyes but it soon passed. “I no longer have my home, so I am trying to make one here, on the Europa, but you have an advantage I don’t.” Sienna said matter of factly as she turned and continued pulling out ingredients, inviting him to ask the obvious question of what that might be.

“Oh? And what’s that?” he said dryly, moving over closer to see what she was pulling out. It was starting to be kind of useful to have his mother’s eidetic memory, so he was curious if he could figure out what they might be making.
