She had shared some of parents interesting mix of cuisine with him on occasion and it was usually what she wanted when she was upset. Today was no exception but she wanted something she hadn’t had in awhile. “Boxty with roast beef and gravy. Trust me, it’s amazing. Good comfort food.”
Marsh grunted at a very low tone. He didn’t sound convinced. He was concerned about this Boxty element in his roast beef. He was pretty sure the French part of him would rebel against it.
Gazing at the data, Cass sighed and rose to her feet, giving Steven a grin as they moved to the turbolift. “You know, when I said I was seeing stuff in my dreams? It was like this weird pseudo reality of real data inserted into crazy scenarios. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if the TAM poofs into existence and communicates with our computer in some made up language.”

“That isn’t what you should be seeing in your dreams.” He wandered off towards the lounge why she headed to his room. Marsh’s quarters weren’t sealed so she could entered even without a code. In fact the only time he ever locked the door was when he was inside and didn’t want to be disturbed.
Perhaps he wasn’t expecting company. His quarters weren’t as neat as she was used to. The remnants of their evening on the couch was still there, a couple of glasses a half empty bottle of wine a platter of cheese. Nor was his bed made.
