Steven Leon Marsh

Steven Leon “the Lion” Marsh, the first born son of a moderate sized barony in France. Steven’s family can trace their linage through both King Edward of England and Louis of France. While wealth and land ownership on Earth is passe the Marsh family is arguably one of the wealthiest in France.
From birth Steven was trained to lead his house and he was well trained in many of the noble ‘arts,’ archery, chivalry, fencing. He is considered a gourmand and has been featured in several magazines. His royal background, skills, wild partying, and good looks made his one of the few people that still are followed by the ever dwindling paparazzi,
To his family this was fine while he was young, but as he grew into a man they felt that he first must serve before he could lead. Every male of the Marsh family, and most of the females, have served in the French military, but for Steven this was not considered good enough. He was too well known to have a true service experence on Earth and that left the colonial forces or Star Fleet.
Marsh was a fair student while at the academy. Given his intelligence he should have done much better, but studying was never his thing. He always relied on his wealth, his good looks, and his intelligence to skirt by and that plan didn’t work too well at the academy. He completed his requirement and his cadet cruise in an unremarkable fashion and somehow got assigned to the Europa. Some argued that his family connections helped him slide into the sixth fleet, others say that his prior CO saw something special in him, only time will tell.
