Lyndzie was kind of bored. She went to the mess hall with a pad that has her book on it. She then sat her pad down and went to the replicator and order food. “Stack of banana pancakes and hot chocolate.” She said to the replicator computer. The replicator had then created them. She then grabbed her stuff and sat down and started to eat them and drink her drink. Lyndzie then picked up her pad and started to read her book.

DaVinci entered the near empty lounge. He motioned to the bartender he wanted a beer from his personal stock. By the time the CO reached the bar, his beer was in a large frosted mug with a good head of froth at the top. He took a long draw, easily downing half the mug at once. He smacked his lips and said to the bartender, “Thanks. That hit right where I needed it to hit.”

He noticed his chief of Ops sitting alone> He realized he hadn’t had much interaction with the chief since she came aboard. That needed to be rectified.

He made his way to the table and asked. “Lt Angel, I hope I’m not interrupting you, but do you mind if I have a seat?”

She looked up and saw the captain. First time for her to have her commanding officer wanting to sit with her. “By all means captain. How are you?” Angel said to him.

“I’m fine. Thank you for asking, Lt.” DaVinci pulled up a chair and took a drink of his beer before placing it on the table.

“I was just going over personnel files and something in yours intrigues me. I’m hoping you can explain it to me.”

“Well, it says in your first posting onboard the Genesis you were a doctor in medical, but when you came to us you were in Ops. How did that change come about?”

“Sir?” She asked. “Oh you mean when I was on the genesis, I was medical and then here as Ops. Well sir. to be honest I mainly took engineering/operations courses at the academy with a little medical. Sorry for the confusion sir.”
