OOC: I appreciate that this has been handled off the boards, but my character will have been most miffed that his ‘British’ telling off wasn’t heeded… talking of which:

Will cleared his throat. “Lieutenants”, he said, crisply. “I thought I had made myself clear that you both needed to remain civil. Continue the way you’re going, and you both will be ensigns.” he said, grumpily.

“Now, on with the mission,” he said, matter-of-factly.

John sets up the communicators so they can stay in contact. Then he pulls out a phaser that was locked on stun so she can at least defend herself. “Ok the scan shows us a few hallways and paths, but I’m going to do a handheld scan to see what path still have atmosphere so we can breath

Lt. John Forster (CWO)

“Of course Mr. Forster. Ill take the other to see if the same thing is over there. Ill contact you once I’m there. If there isn’t any atmosphere I’ll come back to you once I’m done. Unless my scans tells me otherwise.” She replied in a much more calmer and more logical.

John handed her a rebreather just in case if she needs it. Then he turned and slowly walked down one of the pathways that was lit and had atmosphere his scanner was doing scans every few feet. He was surprised how this vessel was able to stay together mostly in this weird storm of chaos. And how this entity was able to use the vessel as a conduit for itself keeping certain areas powered with atmosphere without any sort of energy reading it was fascinating. If the old man silver was here, he will be jumping for joy. He was the scientist, not John.

She went her direction and figured out something. But nothing quite like she had ever encountered.

OOC: Okay I am going to repost this paragraph because I need to know exactly where each of you are heading.
‘Science sensors detected an immense network of geometric structures buried beneath the deck, all resonating with the same harmonic frequency as the illuminated corridor. The formations appeared to be part of a single integrated system extending throughout the vessel rather than isolated machinery. Preliminary mapping suggested the pathway led toward the ship’s command and navigation center, while deeper scans hinted at scientific laboratories, biological containment facilities, engineering spaces surrounding an unstable subspace power core, and habitation decks where isolated pockets of atmosphere still remained. Much of the vessel, however, remained hidden behind persistent subspace phase distortions.’

So if each of you could tell which area you are heading to I can post a description of your travel there:)

Will looked up from his tricorder. “Ok, let’s split up; but keep on open communications channel. Forster, head towards what look like the engineering spaces. T’Sol, head to the science labs. I’ll head towards the command centre.”

Cmdr William Archer
First Officer

“Yes sir.” She replied as she headed towards the science labs. She kept her communicator in hand as she used her tricorder and started to scan.

The Away Team separated at the junction, their open communicator channel providing the only immediate connection between them as each followed a different branch of the illuminated pathway. Behind them, the route back toward the shuttle remained marked by the same pale blue-white light that had guided them into the derelict.

Forster’s route toward the engineering spaces descended gradually into the vessel. His tricorder continued to confirm breathable atmosphere along the illuminated path, although pressure fluctuated slightly from one section to another. The corridors became increasingly industrial in appearance as he progressed, widening around enormous structural supports that disappeared into the deck and overhead bulkheads. The geometric formations beneath the deck grew denser, their harmonic resonance strengthening with every junction he crossed.

Several passages branching away from his route were exposed to vacuum or concealed behind the same subspace distortions that had frustrated the Chernov’s earlier scans. The illuminated pathway avoided each of them, leading Forster deeper toward the source of the vessel’s power. His tricorder gradually began detecting increasing subspace instability ahead, consistent with the location of the suspected power core. Whatever machinery awaited him remained beyond another series of corridors, but the route toward Engineering remained accessible.

T’Sol’s path toward the scientific laboratories took her in another direction, where the architecture gradually changed. The broad passage narrowed before opening into a succession of interconnected chambers. Atmospheric readings remained within survivable limits, although her tricorder detected several sealed compartments beyond the walls where the environment differed considerably from the corridor around her.

The geometric network beneath the deck extended into those chambers and branched throughout the surrounding structure with extraordinary complexity. Her tricorder began identifying unusual residual energy patterns ahead, along with traces of biological material that did not correspond with anything presently living within the corridor. Several chambers appeared completely inaccessible because of localized phase distortions, while others remained physically intact. The illuminated pathway continued directly toward the largest concentration of scientific readings.

Archer’s route toward the command and navigation center climbed gradually toward the interior of the derelict. Unlike the paths taken by Forster and T’Sol, the corridor ahead grew progressively wider. Repeating geometric patterns appeared along the walls and ceiling, their illumination responding sequentially as he passed beneath them.

His tricorder confirmed that the buried network converged increasingly around his route. What had appeared elsewhere as individual geometric structures became an intricate interconnected lattice extending through the deck, walls and overhead supports. Navigation-related energy signatures began appearing ahead, although none resembled conventional computer processors, control circuitry or sensor interfaces.

Eventually, the passage before Archer opened into a broad ascending corridor. Beyond it, his tricorder indicated an immense chamber positioned near what preliminary scans had identified as the vessel’s command center.

Throughout all three journeys, their communicators remained connected. Then, almost simultaneously, each communicator produced a faint burst of static. It lasted less than a second before the channel cleared. None of their tricorders immediately identified its source.

The three Starfleet officers were now moving separately through different sections of the ancient vessel, each following an illuminated path deeper into a ship that appeared to be guiding them toward precisely where they had chosen to go.

John took his time looking around the engineering area of the vessel. Technology seemed pretty advanced. Some of it seemed pretty standard as he continue looking around, taking readings and taking pictures of the technology and other systems that looked interesting. He continued his way, taking scans and making sure he’s staying within the field of breathable air.

Lt. John Forster (CWO)

T’Sol had continued her scans all the way to the science lab and opened up her communicator. =o= Commander, Lieutenant. I’m not getting anything however, it is very breathable. How about you two?=o= she sat there and asked.
