It saddens me that I have had to remove Travis as CO of the ship due to his AWOL and non response to my emails. I have been in contact with the President and I needed to do this before the ship fell below posting limits and possible decommission. I have talked to Richard and he will be the aCO until a new Captain has been found.

I did respond and have the screenshot to prove it. When I went to post and get back on track, I was already removed. I do respect your decision and I know it was a tough one. You’re a great leader and Fleet Commander.

Dear all,

This places us in a difficult position. I am very sorry we’re in it. But the risks for our ship are dire. We risk full decommissioning. Yet, we are a community, we’ve been staying afloat this long. August, fourteen years ago, was when the ship was commissioned and its first crew set sail under Captain James Cromwell. This is not the first time we’ve been without a CO. I am confident that our resilience will help us through these rough waters.

As for our next steps....

I’m thinking we should just fast-forward an end to the Denobulan situation. Perhaps we’re dropping off the captain on Earth, while we’re awaiting orders for a new CO to come. Perhaps this is when the new story under our new GM could take place, with a new CO being part of the storyline.

Thank you all. It had been my pleasure to be on this ship for over 10 years and it’s Commanding Officer for 8 or so years. It deeply sadens me that it has came to this but I told you all that this ship is important to stay afloat and it hurts me that I couldn’t fulfill my end if the bargain. You all have become family to me and you all know I mean that.

If I could stay as Captain and given that chance I would and won’t let anyone down. I’m in a better place now, but that depends on the powers that be, but know that I will forever hold you all and this ship with very high regard and love.

Please have Captain Christopher Taggart be put on Earth in the Mediterranean Sea near Naples and beam his yacht from the cargo bay there as well. He’ll retire out in peace there and you’re all welcome to come visit anytime. That is if I don’t get to stay.
