Another boarding physical. I swear to god. Drake walked over and took hold of the PaDD. “Ensign Athravia Zh’rkyren. Reporting to engineering. Have a seat on that bed over there.” He pointed to the first biobed. He grabbed his own PaDD and looked Kyren up. He walked over to his patient. “Zh’rkyren, Athravia. Boring…boring…boring…medical history.” Clearly bedside manner was not his focus today.

The medical history was indeed boring, a list of examinations and physicals, list of vaccinations, but no history of any significant illness.

“Now. Onto the exam.” He opened a tricorder and began scanning Kyren.

Nothing remarkable, her cardiovascular and respiratory health were excellent, musculature and tone in good condition, skeletal system showed no anomalies, nervous system showed a slight elevation in GABA which could indicate anxiety, but was well within Andorian norms.

Kyren gave a little bit of a glare to the doctor, and his brusque manner, but managed to settle for only a slightly huffy exhale as the only real outward sign that she was annoyed. Nobody likes these routine checkups, patients or doctors, but he could at least pretend I’m not ruining his day, not my fault orders are orders she groused to herself. A medical ship. Fun. I sure hope the snipes are friendlier.

Drake closed the tricorder. “Alright. Everything looks ok. One thing was on the high end of normal. Probably just means you’re anxious about boarding. Or you have grown to dislike me. Or both. I’m gonna bet both. I don’t blame you. Any questions, anything you want checked before I write you up as healthy?”
