Michael entered the cargo bay on Deck 7, pulled out his engineering tricorder and went to the relays that were examined earlier. He began to scan them looking for any that had the bio trail that was identified by Ensign Pierce earlier. Once he found the correct relay/s he would scan nearby cargo for any traces of the lifeform that Pierce and the scientist had found between Decks 3 and 4.

He’d see the trail as well as detect it. There was a trail of a slightly shiny substance tucked around some of the cargo containers and behind that, there was a smaller one that had a lid removed and was on its side. The trail went off to to a wall and stopped in front of a panel to the EPS manifold that had been replaced earlier after being accidentally shot at while the ship was at Regulus.
