The bridge of the Ogawa was calm as the day shift wound down, the officers preparing to hand over their duties to the night shift. It had been fairly quiet over the last several days and as anyone in the medical field knew, quiet was a condition that rarely lasted and, sometimes, it was a very bad omen.
