Biography: Cmdr. Dr. Brad Walker is one of five siblings born to the Walker family. Brad is the eldest, and inspired two of his brothers to join Starfleet as physicians as well, though they have since retired to private practice on Earth.

His career began on the Coronado, and he has survived the destruction of two starships (The Corey and the Agamemnon). Eventually, he rose to the rank of Lieutenant after serving as the Aggie’s Chief Medical Officer, transferring with that rank to serve as CMO on the new USS Vanguard.

After seeing through research on an artificial plague affecting the planet of Deroga and the Vanguard’s subsequent encounters with the Rogan Stellar Empire, Brad transferred to Starfleet Medical for additional Command training.

That training and his research background resulted in a promotion to Lt. Commander and assignment to the new Federation Embassy at Corvan V as the XO of the Starfleet Detachment, leading research teams working with the Corvan species into ways the planet’s pending membership in the Federation could benefit the Galaxy.

After a two-year stint at the Embassy, Brad returned to Starfleet Medical as the Head of Diagnostic Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital. He spent six years in that assignment before accepting the post on the USS Ogawa as Chief of Staff.

He’s looking forward to returning to practicing medicine on the Final Frontier, and working with the staff of the legendary Ogawa.
