Appearance:
Sadie is a small bipedal humanoid alien with body and facial features that resemble some sort of mix between deer, rabbit, and goat. She is four and a half feet tall and walks with a digitigrade stance, meaning that she walks on the balls of her feet. Her body is covered in a layer of short hair, which is mostly a pale tan in coloration, except for a few patches of white. She has slightly longer hair on her head, resembling a mane. She has a very small, fluffy tail which is dark on top and white on the bottom. Her ears are long and floppy. She has brown eyes and a big brown nose. Like all those of her world, she has only four fingers instead of the typical five.

History:
Sadie was born in the early autumn of 2370, in a quiet town outside of Salita(city), Gowba(region), Taruwen(continent), Galdor(planet). Her father, Kuro, had served in Starfleet as a scientist during his pilgrimage, and her mother, Tala, was an author. She was the youngest of three children, with her older brothers being named Keram and Jeris. Jer, Ker, and ‘Sai’ were quite close as children, and got along splendidly. Sadie was very interested in space, stars, and words, and applied herself diligently to her schoolwork, with the eventual goal of getting into Starfleet to be like her dad.

She succeeded in this goal, graduating from Starfleet academy in 2394, and was assigned to the USS Ark Angel, where she served for a few years. In 2397, she was transferred to the USS Ferrite and promoted to department head - Chief Science Officer. Sadie’s specialisations lie in Stellar Physics, Archaeology, and Linguistics. In 2401, the captain if the Ferrite recommended her for an open position on the Ogawa, and she was transferred.

Sadie is fluent in several languages, including half a dozen languages from her homeworld, English, Caitian, Vulcan, Klingon, and Andorian
She has a range of fluency in several more, including several Earth languages, Romulan, Tellarite, Ferengi, Bolian, Cardassian, Bajoran, and Gorn.

Flaws:
Crippling Social Anxiety - Sadie, while being a highly competent officer and able to take command of her science team, is nearly incapable of having a normal casual conversation. In casual environments, she seems unable to advocate for her own needs, freezing in place like a deer in headlights. She has gotten better in the last decade - the anti-anxiety medication helps - and is able to carry herself with a little more calmness than before.
Near-sighted, her vision is about 10/20 - she can see something 10 feet away as clearly as a human with 20/20 vision could see 20 feet away. However, her olfactory senses are heightened far above that of a human. This level of vision is normal for someone of her race. Sadie has a pair of glasses she uses when necessary, although they give her a headache so she prefers not to wear them.
