Hello folks!

So… as you can tell, things have been a bit sporadic lately. I have said on more than one occasion that “we’re working on the sim”. And we are. Promise! In fact, Tom and I have made significant progress. But the start has been derailed by my state of burnout that has been affecting my health significantly. Enough so that I just had to quit my job. (It sucks but it’s actually a good thing!)

Aside from having less stress and more time for creative things, I will (in time) have more energy. But I am pacing my recovery as I am dealing with frequent migraines again.

That being said, I see no reason why I won’t have time to work on the last bits we need in order to start. I don’t want to promise a specific date but I can see within the next week being able to start.

In the meantime, there are several storylines going on that people are involved in. Please keep up your participation in those as much as you can. If you don’t have anywhere to post and need a hand figuring that out, DM me on the site or in Discord. We’ll figure something out.

Lastly, I know a lot of people (probably everyone really) is feeling the weight of things going on around us. I also know many of you have specific challenges you are dealing with that add to the stress. Know that I understand and know that posting can sometimes be harder. But please let me know if you think you won’t be able to keep up for a time. We’ll make adjustments as needed. I’m here for you all just like many of you are equally here for me. Things be hard right now, but I truly believe places like STF are much-needed sanctuaries.

I know I haven’t been the greatest CO these last months, but I am really excited to get back to writing more with you all.
