Nyman seemed a bit more active than usual. Tapping his fingers with impatience, as the medical team preformed their scans. They didn’t have much time until the ship reached the colony. And then what? Mavix seemed to have some objections. Could he really rely on her to follow through if they decided to go ahead with the information they had?

He looked over the doctor’s shoulder as they were viewing the readings in real time. All seemed normal to him, but he also didn’t specialize in neuroscience.

Brad had limited the people in attendance to himself, a handful of his top people, and his new assistant CMO. No need inviting wild speculation where it could be involved. “And that’s it, sir,” he noted as the scan concluded. “You’re free to return to the bridge unless Commander Nyman or Lt. Izei have questions they’d like answered about these scans.”

“I have a basic containment unit built for the object. Merely waiting for scans and data to refine the unit.” Dorian said.
