Nathan came onboard when the Chimera docked with the Starbase as part of the new crew transfer, He wasted no time getting his stuff sent to his quarters and then off he went to sickbay, his medical, along with his pysch eval were two things he needed to square away before reporting to the XO to report for duty.

He arrived at sickbay shortly after heading there, he stopped a few steps inside the door

“Lt Hawthorne reporting for my medical”

He said hoping someone was there, as he didn’t even look around before announcing to the room what he was after.
