Looking up, Koraia nearly sighed, but she knew she was drunk and tried and tomorrow was another battle to fight. Glancing at Julien, she couldn’t help but smile. “Well, t’anks fer the caht and especially de drinks. I’m goin’ to not like em so much in de morning, but I’ve decided I don’t care.” She offered her hand to him. “Good luck with Cea, or Celia or whatever her name is.”

He took her hand and gave a rueful smile. “I won’t meet her, I’m… ah, not physically fit enough.” he said in a low voice and for some reason, although there was nothing like that between him and Ghubari, it still felt wrong admitting it to a woman. The truth was he couldn’t bear the fact that due to his heavy weight, he had become a boring lover, afraid of hurting the woman, all he could do is just lie there…

Koraia simply nodded, her eyes expressing the depth to which she understood, even if their issues were entirely different.

“I would like to spend some more time with you though if you don’t mind. They have a chess board in there or we could catch up on some of the latest best fleet manouvers together… “

“We can meetup,” Ghubari said with another nod. “I ‘ave like three appoin’ments in de morning but how ‘bout we meet fer lunch” She lifted her hand and raised her index finger. “And no alcohol,” she said with a glimmer in her eyes.

He flashed her his trademark charming smile that made the dimple appear in his left cheek. “Promise. Good night Ghubi.” he said and limped away as fast as he could manage, chuckling.
