After a short break, which included refilling her mug with scalding black coffee and catching up on the next chapter of: “Death on the Nile,” Lissan figured it was time to give Agatha Christie a break and focus back on the purpose of the day. Scanning over the list, Grey’s name popped up next. It seemed like he would be her next victim for poking and proding the mind.

James was in the middle of a very unenthusiastic checkers game with an overly intelligent hamster that had wandered into his lab.... and losing rather badly. He was quick to give the counselor an affirmative, excuse himself then leave the lab. A few minutes later he arrived outside her office and pressed the chime.
