Cain looked down at Boomer, who was gnawing on a replicated bone, and said, “You sure do have the life. Now remember, we are going to have a lot of guests tonight, you need to be on your best behavior.” Cain looked at all the food that he was preparing to make sure it would all be done when needed and waited for the first guests to arrive.

Lovejoy had just gotten off of duty for the night and noticed there was a message on her pad. She then looked at it as it was an invitation to the causing quarters for a Christmas dinner. She had then taken off from engineering to her quarters and got into something less work related. As soon as she got to her quarters and started to change. Once she was finished, she put some make up on and headed to the captains quarters. Finally she got there and rang the chime. Standing there in silence awaiting to enter.

Rado did not know what this Christmas holiday was, having grown up on Bajor and thus celebrating Bajoran holidays. T’Han was little help, saying that it was a Earth holiday. Knowing that it may be a faux-pas to go somewhere without the proper attire and that Thanksgiving was also an Earth holiday and having seen a picture of a child dressed as a ‘Pill-gram’, he replicated a similar outfit for the dinner. Now, dressed in a ‘pill-gram’ outfit, he saw someone waiting to enter the Captain’s quarters. Though it confused him why she was not dressed for the event like he was. Once he was at the appropriate distance, he said, “Hello, um, are you attending the Captain’s Chris Mass dinner?”

She looked over and saw the Chief of security. “Yes I am.” She replied back. “Might I ask why the costume. Not saying it’s a bad thing.” She added a little later.

Rado was confused. “Is this not a reasonable outfit for a Chris Mass dinner? This is an Earth holiday outfit, correct?”

OOC: Is this for anyone? i’m going to assume so as I was tagged :-D

IC: Chris arrived at the dinner wearing a Christmas hat and jumper he had been more than happy to spend a few replicator credits on. After all, it was a celebration for everyone.

The jumper was woolly, decorated with a cheerful Terran Santa Claus, snowflakes scattered across the fabric, and small integrated lights woven subtly through the design. It was festive—almost conspicuously so—but Chris wore it without embarrassment.

As he entered the Captain’s quarters, he glanced around the room, taking in who was already present. It was still unusual for an Ensign to be invited here, and he was acutely aware of that fact. But tonight was different. This wasn’t about rank or duty.

It was a special time.
