Early Life

Chris Taylor was born in England on Earth in January 2367. At only eight months old, he lost both of his parents, Starfleet officers who were killed during the Battle of Wolf 359.

Following their deaths, Chris was raised by his maternal aunt and uncle on their traditional family farm in rural England. Although Federation agriculture had become highly automated by the late twenty-fourth century, his family deliberately maintained a more hands-on, twenty-first-century approach to farming. Growing up, Chris learned the value of hard work through early mornings, long days, and the constant demands of caring for livestock, maintaining equipment, and tending crops.

Life on the farm instilled in him discipline, self-reliance, and a strong work ethic. Inspired by the sacrifice of his parents and driven by a desire to protect others, Chris set his sights on a career in Starfleet.
