Dear USS Asimov Crew,

The time has come.

As I’m sure you’ve all noticed, activity has dropped and dropped. With the health of the club and the continuing activity of the ships in better condition in mind, we are in the dying days of the USS Asimov. The ship will soon be decommissioned. This is and has been a great ship. I will miss her. I will miss the days of exchanging tags with all of you and knowing that my friends were here at the end of any day to be a continuing creative safety net. No matter how much time passes those memories will always be a treasure.

Thank you for your time, thank you for your writing, and I look forward to seeing you in all our other ships.
