Something about the artifact intrigued Eve. Being in possession of what some beings considered an extended lifespan herself, there were times the android also felt like an artifact.

“I would like to accompany Ensign Gorvel to the artifact, if I may, Ma’am?” she suggested to Miz’uki.

“I would like to come as well. I might be able to scan this artifacts if I get close enough to them; besides that I am really curious myself. Which team should I join?” added Frogue.

“We could split up” Kala suggested excitedly, the scientific drive to see the artifact and actually get the chance to do something positive, that was in her field of expertise appealing to the young trill woman. She looked to Frogue and Miz’uki whom the decision ultimately lied with.

Mazi’s voice popped up once more. She sounded strained and slightly exerted. =^= Chief this is Mazi. I’m on Deck 15 near the Science Labs.=^= There was a sound of her clanging around a locker. =^= Life support is iffy and the whole hall smells like blown fuses. I’m going to start sweeping the deck and see how many I can get down the ladder to safer decks. Could use some help up here. =^=

“Of course, Ma’am,” Eve complied. As an android, she was in possession of no functions that did not exist to serve those around her. Curious then, that she was aware of a delicate sense of depression in her lower core when denied the opportunity to examine the artifact. But there was engineering work to be done and…Eve was employed on this crew as an engineer.
Her lips automatically raising into a smile, she added as she turned to leave, “I shall locate Lieutenant Mazi at once.”

OOC: To clarify the artifact is up on deck 15 the singularity core is a deck down, so Eve would be heading on to the other thread as she did so good job there! I’m just waiting for you all to decide where each of you is going. Tim if you want to scan the artifact go to the other thread with Eve, if you want to help with the Core then stick here
