Ciaran had just gotten off the call with Admiral T’Lara and had received information about the mission to investigate a signal emanating from a planet in unclamed space. Ciaran needed to breif his senior staff on the mission. He went and sat down at the ready room table and hit is comm badge and said =/\=Caitain Donoghuei to all Senior Staff. Please report to the main ready room for information on our next mission.=/\= He then started reading through is PADD again so he would make sure he was double sure of everything going on based on what the admiral had sent over.

OOC: I will expand this post but I wanted to get the sr staff invited and will flesh this out some. Please bare with me as I haven’t done this before and it may suck.

Lieutenant Commander Becket stood from his chair from the bridge and walked into the ready room. “Hello captain.” He said with a nod. “What do we have to work on this time?” He asked with a smile. Becket was eager and was ready as the new XO on board to officially go on a mission at the side of the captain and is willing to be able to help out. He was finally able to experience his first mission on the bridge as part of the command staff. As he was already apart of the senior staff. But more now then ever. Able to help the captain. Recommend things to him and suggest things to the captain as the mission is underway.

However, he did like the thought of being there at the captains side. Maybe quote some rules and regulations depending on the situation.

Ciaran giggled under his breath and responded to Alex. “Welcome to the Ready Room. If you would, please sit down. I will answer your question and many others that will come up but I don’t want to have to explain myself multiple times.” He then went back to reviewing the PADD for the 3rd time just to make sure he knew what was going on fully before the rest of the senior staff was ready for the briefing.

Kyle entered a couple of minutes later - the smallest hint of a five o clock shadow crossing his face, “Morning all!”

Mykl carried a cup of strong coffee when she entered the ready room. The call for all senior officers gave her a small adrenaline rush because it might mean a new mission and that was always exciting. Nodding to those already gathered, she found an empty seat and made it her own.

Seating himself opposite Lieutenant Najjar, Kyle grinned, “Someone is eager this morning.”

Alex smiled at everyone else. “There’s nothing wrong about being eager. We could use all the help we can get.” He replied.

Alex sat there thinking about the upcoming mission that is about to happen. He sat there with a smile looking at them both.

Devin walked in and gave a smile, “Sorry for my late arrival. I hope I haven’t kept you waiting?” She said lightly as she found her seat and settled in to see whatever the meeting was to be about.

Ciaran looked around at who all was here. He believed there was enough folks around to begin speaking about the upcoming mission. He then said, “Thank you for everyone joining me. I have information about our upcoming mission. Here are the details which I have right now from Admiral Nechayev as provided on the mission. Starbase 343, positioned near the Romulan Neutral Zone, has detected an unusual subspace anomaly approximately 2.3 light-years inside neutral space. Long-range sensors indicate the anomaly is artificial in origin and generating significant tachyon emissions. More troubling, the anomaly appears to be expanding slowly but steadily. The USS Ark Angel is ordered to conduct a covert investigation. Official diplomatic channels with the Romulans have gone silent, and Starfleet Intelligence suggests unusual Romulan military movements in the sector. The crew must determine the nature of the anomaly while avoiding an interstellar incident. There should be details on the mission from the PADD which is placed in front of you. Please take a few moments to review this and if you have any questions, lets raise them here.” Ciaran was able to provide the data which he had in the PADDs in front of each of the members of the senior staff. He was hoping for some excellent questions for this upcoming mission.
