T’Shura entered the bridge from the Ready Room and took the XO seat on the Captain’s right. “Helm, prepare for departure.” She ordered as she called up a map of the route on her arm console.

Commander T’Shura XO

Tak sat at the science station, their feet dangling in the air. They swiveled to watch the viewscreen, excited for the departure.

“Status reports!” T’Shura ordered the rest of the bridge crew as they waited for the Captain.

Alex got to the bridge. He then got to the engineering console. “Computer transfer engineering control to the bridge.” The computer had done so. “Commander. Engineering is ready.” He said.

Tak tapped their hands on the console. “Where are we headed?”

T’Mor approached the science station and handed Tak the briefing notes,

“I suppose you could call it a recovery mission, Ensign,” she explained.

“I’m sorry, Ensign. I was distracted, did you receive the coordinates?” T’Shura asked. “If so, proceed, please. Our briefing notes said that it is approximately 10 ly from the Starbase to the coordinates so even at Warp 7.5 it will take 4 days, 10 hours and 9 minutes. The Admiral has given us permission to travel at those speeds. Engage, Ensign.”

Tak took the notes with gratitude, then placed them to the side in order to put in the coordinates as ordered. They took the occasional shift as helmsman, due to their experience with the role, although it wasn’t their primary duty.

Ciaran walked out of his ready room and nodded at T’Shura and said, “Commander, thank you for getting us going. Sorry for my delay but I had to take care of some personal stuff in the ready room. What is our travel time to the location?”

“Understood, Captain. Current ETA is 4 days, 10 hours, 9 minutes.” She looked toward Tak, “Ensign Tak, engage. Science and Tactical, please give me status readings on our route.”

OOC: I am going to fast forward us to arrive quickly but I’d like the bridge crew to chime in here so that I know we have everyone present.;)

Hayley remained in Sickbay but tapped her Comm badge to give a quick status report.

Thank you.=/\= He was hoping everyone else would respond soon just so he knew everyone was prepared. He went ahead and hit the comm station again and said, =/\=Engineering, Bridge here. How are things down there? Is the warp engines holding up well? Please report=/\=

Ciaran then looked up at tactical in order to get an update from Tactical/Security. He wanted to make sure tactical was ready just in case something was to come up.

As the Ark Angel made her way to the coordinates given them by the First Federation, the sensor alarms began to chime indicating the presence of another ship in the vicinity.

Ciaran heard and saw the sensor alarms as they came out of warp. He was expecting there to be a ship but needed to confirm what it was. He then said, “Tactical, can you confirm the ship type and configuration via a scan?” He needed to do this quickly. He also then said, “Helm, please prepare evasive maneuvers if needed.” He wanted to be prepared just in case it was not a first federation ship.

Tak quickly began to calculate evasive maneuvers, checking to make sure the maneuvering controls were ready to go.

As tactical ran the scans for identifying the ship they found that it indeed was a First Federation Flagship by the name of HMS Fesarius II.

“Blimey - never thought I’d see a First Federation ship up close!” Kyle let out a long whistle.

Tak continued to be ready for evasive maneuvers.

Fortunately no evasion was necessary as the comms sounded with a call from the First Federation ship.

“Put the call up on the screen, Lieutenant Anders.” T’Shura ordered.

Kyle tapped a control, “Aye Commander.”

T’Shura straightened her shoulders and faced the screen squarely as the video com came on. On screen was a typical looking human male in a First Federation uniform. The rank pips on his collar revealed he was probably a Commander.
He nodded to T’Shura in acknowledgement.=^=Good day, Commander. I am Commander Don Nobles, Commander of the First Federation Fleet in this sector. Thank you for your prompt response to our call. As I am sure you have been briefed, we have an old First Federation freighter from about 2101 that keeps appearing in this sector like a ghost. Our equipment is not advanced enough to triangulate for it or know how to bring it back into our time and space. We hope that you are capable of doing this for us.=^=
T’Shura nodded back and then waited and listened to the other Commander, “Yes, Commander that is what we have been informed of. I am sure with our Science department we can resolve this issue. Do you have any more detailed information of where the ship appeared and how long ago was the last sighting?”
Commander Nobles shook his head,=^=All we have is that it was in this sector and the last sighting was a week ago.=^=
“Thank you, Commander. Will you be remaining in this sector while we search?”
=^=Yes, Commander. If it is alright with you, we will shadow you in your search. My government would like us there to claim the Kringle once you are successful.=^=
“Understood, we will keep you apprised.” T’Shura said with another nod as the comms faded to black.

T’Shura turned in her chair to the Science station, “Ensign Tak, how would you suggest we attempt to scan for a ship that is moving in and out of space/time?”

“A wide-band scanning pattern, perhaps? If it is only present for a short period of time, our best chance would be to cover as much area as possible at each moment in time.”

T’Shura frowned in thought a moment, “A wide band, certainly but we need to detect a ship lost in a space/time disturbance. If it could be done with regular scans, I am sure the First Federation would have found it. Ensign, do a wide band scan using the temporal and spatial scanners. Concentrate on the coordinates that they gave us and spiral out from there.”
