1. Do you think that the expectation you campaign in a similar fashion as described above is a reasonable one to have? Why or why not?
   

I think overall how people campaign is up to each person. I campaign as I do while balancing a very busy work life and home life. So to feel that I maybe dont post enough is a common feeling to have from a group that as you mentioned above has a quite different style then to what I am doing.

Rob, you did not answer this question. I would like an answer to this please; it makes a big difference in the interpretation of the rest of these answers.

1. Why isn’t your ticket posting new content on the Election Ship on a daily basis? Irrespective of answering questions, why have you not made HQ posts at least once every three days?
   

Overall I think Louis and I have done a good job in posting as much as we can within our real life demands allow. We have put up our campaign hq posts, detailed what we plan to do in this coming term and overall answered questions to the best of our ability. We’re new to much of this yet so we want to discuss with each other the ideas and responses we give, and aligning that with our free time of life takes time sometimes.

Sorry, I’m confused by this slightly. Is your answer that you’re too busy (“as much as we can within our real life demands allow”), or that you think that more elaboration is unnecessary because you’ve been complete as possible?

Also, why do you keep saying you are new to this? You are the only person in this race who has been President before.

Simply put? I don’t got the skills for it. If I had the skills I would make the time to get something up.

Roughly speaking about mid-late February 2019 I asked Louis and from there we started planning things out.

Roughly speaking Louis and I talk in general on this election almost every day or so.

Okay, what does that look like? How long do you talk for?

Our talks range from roughly a half hour or so or more as needed though we also need to balance our time zone differences and home lives too

1. Do you actually plan to do any campaigning besides answering questions on the Election Ship?
   

Given that I view campaigning outside the election ship asking for votes as you outlined above with Drew in poor light (I personally didn’t like it at the time and thought it a cheap tactic) no I don’t plan to campaign off the election ship just to ensure I don’t break any rules by certain wording or in in group sense (like discord) contact someone who didn’t want to get contacted. Call it being rule shy but I would rather err on the side of caution then cause issues.

I think you misunderstood the question. I didn’t ask if you would go around asking for votes or campaign off of the Election Ship, I asked if you intended to do anything besides answer people’s questions. It seems like your answer is “No”, is that the case?

Sorry you’re right I did misunderstand your question, thank you for clarifying it. Louis and I do plan to make another HQ post later tonight or tomorrow wrapping up our core themes and plans. But overall we felt what we’ve answered sticks for itself.

I do think it is necessary to provide a persuasive arguement so the club at large knows what they are getting into with each candidate.

Okay, so… with what you just said in mind… let me summarize what I think you’re saying, and you tell me if it’s correct or not. You think that, generally as far as this campaigning thing goes, you’re doing as well as you possibly could be, and that also is well enough. That is, you have put forward an affirmative argument for yourself that should persuade members to vote for you over Dave, you think people understand what that argument is and are more likely to find it persuasive than not. That is, you think you are going to get the most votes based upon your actions here, because those votes persuaded people.

If that summary is correct (feel free to dispute it), what is your basis for believing that?

In a rough sense yes you are correct, true there is always room for improvement but for me that is usually after the fact something ends or happens where I deeply study something for improving at a later time. While you are right I have been prez before I also had a great VP and others to turn too to help me out with things, and despite that I DID make mistakes chiefly with you and the XFleet review and that still hurts that I made such a deep mistake there, had I the chance I’d have done things a lot differently.

This is why I feel what I have put up stands for itself, I’m trying to keep things as simple as they can be partly so I dont over reach my abilities.
