The Bigfoot had been quiet for a period of more than eight months. Little did he know that when he had last sat down in the Bleacher Seats that he would have nodded off and slept through an entire term. With the hustle and bustle of the new election season going on, he opened an eye irritably and glanced around at the goings on.Shuffling uncomfortably, the Bigfoot noticed an owl nesting on one shoulder and a line of birds sitting on another - looked like they had been there a while! His arms and legs were covered in leaves. Infact, he was completely camouflaged by mother nature, big as he was.
The Bigfoot growled softly, a disapproving growl and then he growled some more as he realised his stomach was howling for some form of nourishment… like a zebra, perhaps even an ox…
The Bigfoot stood up with great force, cracking the chair he was and ROARED at the top of his voice. The leaves flew away from him like a mini-tornado; the birds flew into each other in their efforts to escape this howling-leaf-monster and the owl flew right into a tree trunk becoming dazed by the impact. The Bigfoot roared some more. That felt good! He stamped his feet and thrashed his arms around. Yes.... YES!!!
Now just that matter of something to eat…
Bigfoot
The Tribble and his basket appeared next to the Bigfoot. The Tribble purred cutely and then reached into his basket and pulled out a platter of food and held it up to the Bigfoot.
Just how a ball of fur without hands managed to do this, is beyond me, I just type this stuff.
Anyway, holding aloft the platter of meats, dairy products, fruits, vegetables and grains, the Tribble uttered a single word …
“Nibble?!?”
-TribbleThe Cricket came and sat on the newly refurbished bleacher seats. His beloved beer fridge was gone!
-Cricket
The Tribble saw the look of despair on the Cricket’s face and remembered his past love for the beer fridge and reached back into his basket and pulled out a replacement beer fridge. Setting it up next to the Cricket, the Tribble reached in and pulled out a cold one for the Cricket and uttered another single word, “Dribble?”
-Tribble
The Kiwi turned and glared at the Aussie Tribble with disdain, all these years and they still had to bring up the word Dribble. It just wasn’t Cricket. His mood brightened immediately seeing the beer fridge however and he extracted a well deserved Steinlager, beer of champions, and a Fosters for the Dribble. I mean Tribble.
The Kiwi. Remembering the past. It shall not be forgo...... oooh beer…
