This is just a general question for all candidates, both those in currently and those who may run between now and the end of the nomination period.

Assume I am a new member who joined let’s say 2 months ago and am currently on one ship in the Academy. (I believe that two months is enough time to qualify this hypothetical new member to be involved as a voter/nominator/endorser/etc in the election.) This member has decided to vote in this election, but has no idea who anyone is in the club outside of those on their Academy ship, and no one running in this election is on their ship, that is, they know none of you from a bar of soap.

Could you share a bit about yourselves such as
1 where in the world you are from,
2 what role/s you currently play/perform in the club,
3 your favourite and least favourite roles in the club,
4 why you joined the club,
5 why you’ve stayed in the club for as long as you have been here, and
6 advice for a new role player to help them in their role playing,

This is to help this hypothetical new member get to know about you and the club.

Could you share a bit about yourselves such as
1 where in the world you are from,

I am from the US, Texas to be exact. Great State and great BBQ.

2 what role/s you currently play/perform in the club,

Though I have had the Fcomm role many times I currently am the CO of the USS Brian Olinski which I am very proud of being. I am the Lt. Governor of Oed which is fun and different. I am also the COS on Oed. Lastly I am a thorn in Terry Sullivan’s CO side as the CE on the Wolverine.

3 your favourite and least favourite roles in the club,

I assume you mean government roles because if you mean roleplaying ones then I have no least favorite. The most favorite role is that of CE Petrov on the Wolverine because I just really like playing that guy. As for government I love the Fcomm role and I’m not sure on a least favorite.

4 why you joined the club,

Because I love Star Trek. I cant think of a better answer and one that needs explaining more.

5 why you’ve stayed in the club for as long as you have been here, and

See number 4. Seriously its because I love to rp here. I love my crew members and the loyalty and innovation they have shown over the years.

6 advice for a new role player to help them in their role playing,

First just rp the first year here. Don’t try to get into the big discussions unless its just your thing. Enjoy the experience and build relationships. Then make things better. Maybe this is not the best answer but I think its a good one.
