It is not unusual in STF for a Vice-President to have to take over as President in the middle of the term.

How comfortable are you with having to take on the role as President if called upon to do it? Would your approach as President mirror the approach laid out by your running mate during this election? Do you believe you have the needed experience to serve as President if needed?

Hi Daniel, thank you for the question. I am extremely comfortable and have full confidence in my leadership ability to take on the role of President if I was called upon to do so. I am fully committed to fulfilling all aspects that come with the Vice President position for the next term which includes filling in as President if necessary. I would not have joined Rob’s ticket if I had any reservations about being able to handle any part of the role. My approach would mirror Rob’s to follow our plan laid forth as promised to the community. However, with that being said, if change is required due to new issues or circumstances that arise, I will discuss and work together with the cabinet to help formulate the best possible resolutions to club issues. I do believe I have the experience needed to serve as President. I understand that I have only been in the STF community for about 18 months, but I have accomplished a lot during that time period. I have experience as an XO (Constellation and recently Asimov), CO (USS Sentinel, thank you for believing in me back then during your term Daniel, I love the role.), AFCOMM (Pioneer Fleet), and current FComm, which I had to step into after a couple of months during my first term as AFComm to relieve for Brian Richards who had to leave the community at the time. My leadership experience in roleplay communities in the past and in real life (I lead around 200 employees) definitely will be put to good use during that potential term as President.
