Harry Goodwin

Harry was always a bright child, born in New Zealand to Daniel and Esther, he excelled at school from a young age but always had trouble making friends and fitting in. He showed an aptitude for science early on and had a knack for physics. His father Daniel is a Biochemistry lecturer at Starfleet Academy so it was inevitable that Harry would follow into Starfleet.

He had a mixed experience at the academy, although consistently at the top of the class, he was often left out and isolated because of his lack of social skills and his supreme clumsiness. He did make a couple of friends but still found it quite a lonely time. When he graduated he wanted to make sure he found the right posting so he went home for a while to wait for something suitable. When a posting came up on the Ogawa he knew that it could be just what he needed to grow in confidence so he nervously applied and tentatively packed his bags.
