William Cunningham

William was born in Ireland as an experiment by a group of scientist called the Corisai who wanted to make human soldiers strong enough to defeat any alien threat and be able to use telepathy and empathy as weapon. When the project was found out the scientist were arrested including his mother Tara Reinhart who was from England and his father Charles Vasiliev a man from Russia and was of noble blood but was not anywhere near in line to be part of the royal court. The Vasiliev family disowned Charles for his crimes and asked for William to be adopted in a discreet manner where it didn’t make it into the news. The Federation agreed and after court proceedings at the age of 6 William was adopted by a family who was far removed from science which the court believed was best for the boy.
William then went to live in London with his new mother Oliva Cunningham was a prominent actress and playwright and his father Paul Cunningham who is a famous author who writes stories about earth’s violent past. William’s childhood was of course magical being around plenty of artistic people and but he had a hard time fitting in. In school he worked at a level well beyond those of his peers and since he had been taught combat at an early age and excelled being inhumanly fast and strong he got into lots of fights as well. William was genetically engineered to be rather compliant and follow orders for combat which didn’t fit with his more artistic upbringing causing him to be short tempered because it went against all he had known before. He struggled for years with his temper and his mental maladjustment until he found religion. He studied to become a Counselor but he also became a Christan pastor vowing never to allow his physical and mental conditioning to control him again. William studied medicine in his free time in secret because he knew that it was forbidden for him to enter the profession but hopes one day he can prove himself trustworthy enough to be allowed to become a doctor one day.
William wanted to join Star-fleet academy when he was out of primary because he decided he wanted to use the gifts he had been given to help others instead of being a soldier. However the academy wouldn’t accept him due to his augment status. Instead he became a commision civilan working in counseling and when needed a pastor.
