The Bard

There is no verifiable origin for the Bard within any known system, culture, or timeline. He does not appear to have entered the universe through conventional means, nor does he leave traces that suggest a fixed point of origin.

What is known… if it can be called that… is inferred through pattern rather than record.

The Bard appears only at moments of narrative significance: turning points, consequences, quiet collapses, and irreversible decisions. His presence is not announced, but it is often felt… a shift in tone, a narrowing of focus, a moment given weight beyond its immediate context.

He does not remain. Once a moment resolves, he recedes, leaving no evidence beyond the impact of the event itself.

There are no accounts of first contact, no documentation of his kind, and no confirmed instances of direct interaction. Any understanding of the Bard exists only in retrospect, pieced together from recurring impressions rather than confirmed encounters.

Whether he originates from beyond the known universe, from a distant point in its future, or from a layer of reality not yet understood remains unresolved… and likely irrelevant to his function.

He is not a participant in events. He is present when they become worth remembering.
