Anjo Kiwa

The much younger cousin of Rujo Kiwa, Anjo followed his illustrious cousin into Starfleet Academy and Starfleet. But while Rujo graduated top of his class in Engineering, Anjo found the Academy life far more challenging and graduated with passing grades and a desire for a more hands on approach to saving the ship and crew. Where Rujo went into Engineering, Anjo went into Security where he put his skills to good use in protecting his crewmates with phasers.

Unlike Rujo who greatly admired their great grandmother Kiwa, Anjo’s relationship with her had been at best strained and at worst manipulative. He knows that she has been unwell and that she is in the latter stages of her life and thought he had better visit her before his new assignment. A visit that didn’t go well.

On a personal note, Anjo has an impressive collection of nail clippings from species across multiple sectors in the alpha quadrant.
