The good thing about being quartered on Deck 10 was that it was only a short two deck trip to Deck 12 via the turbolift. And, after dropping his collection of nail clippings and change of uniforms and sleepwear off in his quarters, he made the short trip down to sickbay for his boarding physical. His usual exercise routine was curtailed somewhat in the need to get from his previous posting to the Atlantis, and he hoped that wouldn’t negatively impact his ability to pass his physical.Having reached sickbay 1, he entered and waited to be seen to.

Evrilla looked up from where she was chatting with her nurses, smiling broadly. “Hello Ensign! Here for your physical?”
-Evrilla, CMO“Yes, ma’am,” Anjo replied politely, “is now a good time to get it done? I’m newly arrived and we were told at the Academy we needed to make sure we got medically checked when we joined and it was best we went to the sickbay instead of being summoned as if we didn’t do so, the CMO would tell the COS, and we’d be assigned warp core cleaning duty for the next month. And I’m better with a phaser than a cleaning cloth and brush. I’m Ensign Anjo Kiwa, Security.” He handed over the padd with his details on it.

Evrilla’s antennae twitched, betraying her amusement at his rambling. “Now is perfectly fine. I would have given you a full 24 hours before summoning you, but I do appreciate you reporting in. I’m Dr. Evrilla, the CMO.” She took his padd, sending the details to the nearest open biobed. “Go ahead and sit down on bed 3. “

“Of course, Doctor Ervilla,” Anjo replied, sitting down on bed 3 as instructed.
“Doctor Casio at the Academy treated me for a mild hamstring strain on my right hammy, Doc,” Anjo said, “I followd their instructions as much as I could, even though I had to visit a sick relative which did involve some walking. I’m hoping I’ve done enough to return to vigorous activities soon. The gentle cycling, and the walking activities are getting boring and I long to return to the weights.” Anjo paused and then grinned, “I miss leg day.”

OOC: He has been over doing it … his idea of ‘gentle’ is different to most, and some would call it ‘vigorous’. I looked up hamstring injuries here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/hamstring-injury/
