Atos Sh'qyrin

Physical Description
Atos has an athletic but muscular build, like most Andorians he was raised as a warrior and therefore has lean muscle, particularly on his arms, legs, and stomach. Being Andorian, Atos has the usual characteristic of blue skin, white hair, and a pair of antennae. He is usually seen in either Starfleet uniforms or sometimes imperial guard uniform when carrying out any recreational exercising; however, when off duty, he has taken a particular liking to Earth fashion of a grey tank top and black jogging bottoms.

Body Art
Atos has no tattoos or body art; however, he does have repaired burn scars which cover the majority of his right thigh.

Personality
As far as Andorians go, Atos is well-mannered. His time working with Humans and Vulcans has had a good influence on his warrior nature, though at times there are still signs of his fiery personality. He is utterly loyal to Andoria and to the coalition that has been formed between them, Humans, Vulcans, Tellarite, and the other species involved, and takes his role within that seriously. Furthermore, he is extremely family-oriented, being Andorian with an extended family due to their social behaviors; he has four parents and seven siblings.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Loyal - Atos is willingly loyal to the coalition and the ships he served on. More importantly, he is loyal to his friends and family. Emotional - Like most Andorians, Atos feels his emotions in their extremes, though this has been tempered during his time on Earth it still hasn’t completely gone.

Environmentally Friendly - Due to being Andorian, he can withstand extreme environmental conditions compared to his Human counterparts. Quick to fatigue - Due to his high metabolism, Atos, though strong, fatigues considerably quicker than others.

RTF Officer - Atos excels in his role as an RTF Officer, dealing with security matters and containing anomalies.

Impulsive - Atos tends to act quickly without reflecting too much. But this prevents him from thinking through the consequences of his choices properly.

Perfectionist - Atos is a known perfectionist and demands the best from those around him but most importantly himself. Overbearing - Atos is always sure that his point of view is the right one and tries to impose it on others. He can sometimes have no qualms about disregarding the ideas and thoughts of others to make sure that his own prevail.

Phobia
Atos suffers from acute Pyrophobia. While he can withstand small flames such as candles due to his physiotherapy, he cannot cope with anything larger than a handheld torch. The smell of smoke and burning smells often causes his anxiety to flare with effects such as dizziness and in some extreme cases sickness, stomach cramps, and headaches.

Hobbies & Interests
He loves to draw, paint, and write. Little known in the way of Andorian, but Atos is considered skillful and has even sold some of his pieces. His quarters will be littered with ongoing projects. He also enjoys many of Earth’s recreational sports and makes an effort to participate in their social gatherings.

History
Atos was born twinned with his brothers Thors and Shar on their home planet. He had the normal Andorian upbringing and attended the Andorian Academy of arts. He became an adult at 18 and joined the Imperial Guard as a medical aid where his love for medicine blossomed and gave way for his future medical career which changed early into a scientific interest as Atos began leaning towards Botany and Xenobiology. However, the imperial guard was not somewhere Atos would enjoy or be particularly good at. Working in the Imperial guard wasn’t much about science and medicine but about secrecy, combat, and subterfuge which Andorians were commonly known for. Disagreeing with this way of Life, Atos left the imperial guard early and somewhat disgraced.

Feeling that he needed a change of pace, he moved to Earth where he quickly began taking a liking to its history and culture. Eventually, he found himself enlisting in Starfleet. Atos had an early setback having been caught in a fire which has caused his pyrophobia. After treatment and rehabilitation, Atos eventually reapplied to Starfleet and passed his training.
