She was so tired she didn’t realize how that sounded when she said it, “Oh....” turning several shades of red. “I didn’t mean…or…you know what,” she said sitting up, “I’m too tired to know what I mean, except that I really enjoy your company and hate for the evening to end.” She got up collecting the glasses. “I think, however, I had better say goodnight.”

Rainns stood up. “I agree Doc, I hope you don’t mind when I call you that by the way.” He waited for Fayth to put the glasses up before walking over and embracing her. “Goodnight Sharah.” He said.

“Not at all, I like all the things you call me,” she thought thinking over them. She stepped into the embrace, returning it. “Goodnight Joseph,” she said trying to stifle a yawn.
Cadet Fayth, Doctor

He smiled. “ Good, just wanted to make sure.” Rainns released his embrace. “Goodnight Doctor.” He said before heading towards the door.

She smiled, “Good night, Joseph.” She walked him to the door. After he left she went straight to sleep. She almost missed her alarm clock the next morning.
