After his evaluation of his medical staff his looked at the padd and saw the first name alphabetically. “Ok. Aatami.”

Aatami made his way to Sickbay and walked through the door. “Um, hello? Ensign Myasnikov reporting.” he said to the room inn general, his heavy Russian accent filling the room.

Ens. Myasnikov, Helm / Science

“Take a seat on a bio bed and I’ll be with you shortly.” Usus said as he walked by. “A Russian. I haven’t met many of you.” He walked up to him and examined him. “Seems good so far. Any diseases I should know of? Any diseases that run in the family?” He said as he used a tricorder to scan Aatami.

Aatami smiled about the comment about his nationality. “No? Then you haven’t lived , Doctor. We are a great people. And very healthy. No diseases, no predispositions. Very healthy as far back as my great-great-grandfather. He, however, died very young.”

Myasnikov, Helm/Science

“OK. Well your scans are good. Of course I can’t just say you’re fine and let you go. As I do see myself as a shrink for the ship, let’s talk about your past.” Usus sat down in one of his chairs.

“Why did you join Star Fleet? What drove you towards it? Family?” He asked as he took out a Padd.

The normally boisterous and outgoing helmsman faltered slightly, and he looked at the floor for a moment before composing himself. “In a way, yes. My brother was in the Embassy on Vulcan when it was bombed. He was in Star Fleet. So you could say that is what brought me to Star Fleet. Well, that and I look really good in this uniform.” he said with a soft chuckle and half-hearted smile.
