Major Tyrell Decker stands in one of the hanger bays aboard the Shipyard Serenity. Decker wearing fatigues, steps out ofvthe bay, looking at where he would need to be. There are a few non essential personnel around, and Decker knew he had to check in. It seemed as if power was on in some places. He looked at his pADD to figure out where to go, and found out which deck he needed to go to.

After having a few of those non essential personnel rake his belonging to his aasigned quarters, he walked along the cooridoors, and lifts until he was standing in front of the COS office.

With a press of his thumb, he pressed the door chime plate, sending a,signal that he was outside the door, waiting to come in.

“What?” came a gravely bark from inside the office. The door slid open to reveal a single desk with two crates in front of it in place of chairs. Seated behind the desk was a human man with weathered skin, shirt cut hair graying at the temples and sides, and a cybernetic arm. Looking up and seeing Decker in the doorway, Pikelsimer grinned crookedly. “Well, well, well… looks like the ships outside aren’t the only thing getting pulled out of moth balls…”

Pikelsimer, Police Chief

Decker looked at the old man, and at his PaDD. He could have sworn he was at the COs office. He took a step back looked at the room number. Sure enough he’s in the wrong room. As a matter of ract, he was om a whole wrong deck.

He cursed under his breath looking at the beat up man looking at him. He shook his head and contiplating on just walk g out, but knowing the old man in front of him, he knew he wasn’t going to leave without some conversation with the old Marine.

“I could say the same about you.” he barked right back. “What in the hell are you doing here?” Decker asked.

Tyrell Decker, Chief of Security.

Pikelsimer glared at Decker for a minute, and then his face split into a wide grin as he stood up and held out his cybernetic limb to shake hands. “Damn, Decker. I figured you would be on some cushy Command posting on Earth by now. What in the hell are you doing all the way out here?”

Pikelsimer, Police Chief

Decker let out a small grin, as he went and shook Pikelsimer’s hand. He thought to himself, how in the hell did he get put in a command with this guy, twice. The first time was pretty rough meeting this man on his last command of the Dauntless. A marine as well, he was thick skinned and rough around the edges. A real grunt. However, looking at him now, there was something different about the man. Looked as if he was carefree, nothing holding him back. “I was thinking the same about you.”

Decker let go of the shake, and looked for a place to sit, however, the milk crate was the only thing there. He sat down, and told Pikelsimer what he did after leaving the Dauntless, going back to his roots in security, dropping rank because of it, and making his way here.

“To answer your questiong, your guess is as good as mine as to why I’m here. Something to do with Star-Fleet Security.” He was assuming Chief of Security, but wasn’t 100% sure that was what was happening, since the orders simply stated that he was to report to the CO to find out what it is he’s doing in this place. “What about you, how’d you end up here?”

Major Tyrell Decker

Pikelsimer grinned a sly grin and said “Well, after the crap show that happened on the Dauntless, I decided I had had enough. So I retired. Yep, me. I actually retired. Took a job as a cop in San Francisco. Thought it’s be a good way to keep from getting bored. Turns out, it was. Made Detective in less than two years. Homicide and Vice. Did some joint task force work for Federation Security, too.” he added. “And then one day this Fleet Admiral walks into the squad room, pulls me and my Captain; who, by the way, was grad-A piece of… well, you can figure that out; into a conference room and asks me if I would consider a posting as Chief of Police on a Federation Station. I looked at the Captain, laughed in his face, and was a runabout in less than four hours. Got here, and the PREVIOUS CO had me on as Security Chief until things got up and running. The new guy, Stout, told me yesterday that a new Security Chief was inbound… and here you are.” Pikelsimer leaned back in the chair and said “So. The way I think this is SUPPOSED to work is you handle the Fleet guys and Star Fleet docked ships. I handle the civilians and their docked ships, and together we handle the station. Together, we both are in charge of keeping the peace, customs, immigration, investigations, et cetera. How does that sound to you…” and he eyed the rank insignia “… Major?”

Pikelsimer, Chief of Police

“Yeah, part of deal with me leaving JAG.” He looked. “Drop a rank, but not the pay. Also, don’t think the want 2 full birds running around tbis place.” Decker was sure he got thst reference. He looked around the office, and back at the old man. “I’m sure it’ll be covered later, but any problems or issues I need to know?”

Major Tyrell Decker (COS)

Pikelsimer again grinned slyly and said “Yeah…” and he leaned back, put his hands behind his head, kicked his feet up on the only piece of furniture in the room; “… you don’t have a desk.”

Pikelsimer, Chief of Police

“I see that. I’m assuming that this thing has been abandoned for a long time. Hopefully they’ll have it all around soon.” He looked at Pikelsimer. ” God knows what the quarters look like.”

Decker looked around at the office more closely. There was nothing. The lighting was bad but visible of course, but nothing on the walls, tables, ect… It was bare, except the thing Pikelsimer had his feet on, the seat he was in and the two crates used for seats. Decker let out a slight sigh.

“So, now thats out of the way,” He looked at his friend hoping he’d be serious, “With the small amount of crew and civilians here, is there any trouble on this junk pile that I need to know about?”

Major Tyrell Decker - COS

Pikelsimer took his feet off the desk and leaned forward. The former Gunnery Sergeant was back in business mode. “Nothing yet. We had some squatters on board when we arrived. Most fled, some hid… some thought they could make us leave.” and he cocked his head to the side a bit as he looked at Decker. “Didn’t go so well for the last group.” He then pulled out a PaDD and handed it to Decker. “Copy of all the incident reports to date. We have one in a holding cell. Big Orion. Put hands on the new Lounge manager. Hauled him in about an hour ago. Turns out, he has outstanding warrants in a couple of systems. One of which is Federation territory. I’m using that as jurisdictional justification for holding him. I sent word to both Fleet and Federation Security. We should have a final disposition in a few hours. Other than that, nothing much happening for now.”
