Ferl’lak took what the Captain said to heart and quickly set up a meeting to discuss the new crew he brought over to help fix the radiation infected ship. They are called the Takret and they were the answer to Ferl’lak’s prayers. Now he was going to host a meeting with medical, command and anyone else to talk about the new crew and their cultural habits, foods, biology and other traits.

He set up a nice buffet for the meeting and is waiting in his suit for people to arrive.

Ferl’lak

The CO walked into the room carrying his trademark cup of coffee and looked at the food. “Nice Spread, Mr. Ferl’lak. You do know how to ingratiate yourself with folks, don’t you?” Stout said with a small smile. He didn’t go to the buffet, but instead took a seat at the table.

Ferl’lak smiled. “I have learned that it is customary to give refreshments to these things. People don’t want to be here but the food and drink helps.”

Mike entered next with a pad in his hand he was putting a list together to give to the COS and he was very upset one of his Engineers who were in the explosion from earlier today did not make it. He found a open set a pretty much collapsed on it. He saw the CO and thought to himself I guess I need to tell him about my augments.

Lt. Mike Knight (CE)

He saw the CE walk in and take a seat. Realizing what happened earlier he spoke up but kept it vague for the others. “Mr. Knight. I can send you the transcripts of this briefing to you later if you’d like. You might have other things to attend to if you want to leave.?

Ferl’lak

Lt. Mike looked at him “i will be fine can i use the rest room to clean my face up” he got up and entered the rest room he turned the water in the sink on and washed his face. When he was done his cybernetic eyes focused on everything around him. ” still haven’t told any one about my cybernetic implants only medical knows that if they read my files that is”Mike entered the main room he looked abit better. He walk to the tabel and got himself a soda to drink.

Yuri walked in shortly afterwards with his own padd to cover the medical aspects of the meeting that they were about to have. He nodded in turn to the Captain and Mr. Ferl’lak in turn as he spoke. “Good day Captain, Mr. Ferl’lak. Apologies on tardiness.” He glanced over towards the Chief Engineer before looking back towards the pair. “There was .. unfortunate situation that required attention.” The medical team that had been working on the Engineer did what they could, but unfortunately the damage from the blast that the closer Engineer took was just too extensive for his body. His sacrifice saved the other Engineer, but it’s never easy to lose a comrade. The two seemed quite close even though the other Engineer had some minor burns and a concussion, but her only concern was for the other. He recommended some counseling, but with no counselor aboard .. he would try his best in the long run.
